We are proud to announce that Ticketcounter has been selected as the system solution by five leading museums in the Netherlands. These museums joined forces to develop an extensive list of requirements that meets the criteria of all five museums. They then jointly chose one party. With the aim of finding a solution that can also be supported by other museums.
Under the guidance of Ellen Oostra, a blueprint was drawn up with descriptions of the core processes that a system must meet, from the perspective of the museum as the visitor. This request, in which Ticketcounter participated together with 20 other suppliers, was assessed based on +500 criteria, drawn up by experts from the museum sector.
Ultimately, we try to create a win-win situation in this way. By working together as a collective, museums can experience various advantages. This includes favorable conditions and extra hours that are available. When museums act together, they can benefit from economies of scale, with prices becoming lower with each additional museum participating. This makes it feasible for all affiliated museums to start using our advanced ticketing solutions.
From Ticketcounter we also make a number of hours of development available per participating museum. Our software is continuously being developed and will therefore also be able to respond to the specific needs that museums will have in the future. This will further optimize the visitor experience and operational efficiency in the future. With the growing number of museums in our collective, museums can place specific developments on our roadmap in this way.
The Scheepvaart Museum and Batavialand from this group have now been the first to start the implementation process.
